Zoo Miami has nearly 300 developed acres on a 740-acre parcel of land. Our zoo is so big, you’ll never have the same experience twice! In December 2008, we’re opening our Amazon and Beyond exhibit. This exhibit alone will be the size of an average zoo, and will add 120 species to our collection. See animals, plants, and nature in surroundings that make you feel like you’re in the middle of a tropical rainforest!
